Description

This looks new and we like new things, especially when they come out of Yes factories. Ok, it does look vaguely similar to the previous TDF and it makes sense, it is the new signature model of the pro rider Tadashi Fuse. The board returns with the same DNA, the same aggressive genes leading it to rip snowparks and destroy natural booters with a ridiculous ease. It's still the same souped up poppy deck incorporating as many technologies as engineers could throw in it. There's the 2x Poplar core with Impact Blocks, there's the directional volume twin shape offering the balance of a twin with the manoeuerability of a directional board, there are biax and triax fibers and it comes with a traditional camber and no rocker. In other words, the Ghost is as powerful as it gets.

What our testers say : Twin shaped board with a good old camber and a firm flex delivering tons of power and response. This is not a board for beginners at all. The board's demanding, not forgiving and you'll need legs if you want to pop a ollie. Suited for advanced and expert freestylers, the board shreds parks and backcountry with high precision and energy. It's a wild beast for riders who know what they want.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
