Description

Unlike the vast majority of snowboards on the market, the YES Greats Uninc has a different frontside edge from the backside edge. The idea is to compensate for the natural lack of stability that every snowboarder has when leaning on the heels with a tighter backside curve radius. The Greats Uninc is therefore particularly effective on the piste, while also offering great freestyle skills, thanks to its twin-tip shape.

What is the program of the Yes Greats Uninc snowboard?

Well balanced in switch, the Greats Uninc offers a good range of trick options and benefits from a consistent ollie pop as well as a good stability during calls and landings. It is also not too stiff and keeps playability on the spatulas. On the track, the classic camber provides a good grip while the asymmetrical edges provide great efficiency in curves. In addition, the high-end construction with poplar, paulownia, bamboo, fiberglass and carbon gives you a little rocket under your feet capable of great speed and powerful carved turns. You can also go out on the side of the track to have fun with the transformed snow and the fresh snow thanks to the rockers of the spatulas.

Who is the Yes Greats Uninc snowboard for?

We recommend this model to experienced or expert snowboarders looking for a board that enables them to ride more technically on the piste and to set the rhythm during the turns.

What are the main qualities of the Yes Greats Uninc snowboard?

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
