Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Yes Rival is a twin-tip snowboard, perfectly symmetrical from nose to tail with a perfectly centred foot position, which offers all possible options in switch. It also has a toned pop in the ollie and not too stiff tips, making it a really efficient board in jib/park. The board is definitely freestyle oriented, but it is also very efficient on the piste. Indeed, the grip of the classic camber and the torsional rigidity offered by the poplar core and the triaxial fibre will allow you to ride hard on hard snow, without lacking precision and stability. Beware, the classic camber and the dynamic shell make it a board for experienced snowboarders, who are looking for a twin-tip model for the park and/or piste riding.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
