Description

The YES Standard works surprisingly well in the powder for a twin-tip snowboard, whose floatation is usually not the first quality. Able to perform both on and off-piste, the Standard gets its versatility from its CamRock profile and Directional Volume Twin shape.

What is the Yes Standard snowboard program?

Thanks to the camber zone in the center of the board, the CamRock profile of the YES Standard offers good grip on hard snow, while allowing you to go over ungroomed snow with spatulas equipped with good rockers. The Directional Volume Twin shape further increases the comfort in powder snow, as it gives the board more volume in the front for better work in the snow. However, with a centered foot position and an equal width between nose and tail, the Standard allows you to maintain comfort in both switch and freestyle. Finally, the tonic flex provides pop and stability without being too demanding to ride. Thus, you get a board with character and that goes everywhere, while offering a variety of trick options.

Who is the Yes Standard snowboard for?

We recommend this model to experienced/expert snowboarders looking for a board that offers maximum playability and freestyle possibilities, while maintaining efficiency on all types of snow and stability at high speeds. Perfect for freestyle riders looking to vary the terrain.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
