Description

During sporting activities involving repeated support or changes of direction, the Epitact Ergostrap Sport support brace provides targeted joint reinforcement without limiting useful movement. Its system combining a thermoformable structure and strapping enables the level of support to be adjusted as required, while maintaining good perception of the terrain.

Preliminary thermal shaping enables the ankle brace to be precisely adapted to the ankle's morphology. Worn over a sock, it limits friction and integrates easily into a sports shoe. Its use is reserved for dynamic practice, to accompany active phases without prolonged static compression.

Epitact Ergostrap Sport specifications:

  • Right/left: can be worn equally on the right and left foot
  • Pack contents: 1 ankle brace + 1 strapping + 1 pouch + 1 plastic bag + 1 instructions for use + 1 thermoforming instructions
  • Composition: 50% polyamide/elastane fabric, 32% thermoformable plastic, 18% silicone
  • Instructions for use:
    • Wash before 1st use and after use
    • Thermoform the ankle brace before use
    • Wear the ankle brace over a sufficiently high sock, so as not to cause discomfort during use. If you use calf compression sleeves, also place them under the Ergostrap™ Sport
    • Do not use statically, but only when practicing your activity
  • Contra-indications:
    • Do not use the Ergostrap® on a skin lesion
    • Do not use in cases of arteritis, diabetes, polyneuritis, neuropathy of the lower limbs. In case of doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice
  • Cleaning:  machine washable at 30°C or hand washable (without rubbing) with soap and water. Do not use detergents or stain removers (bleach, acetone, nail polish remover, etc.). Allow to dry naturally. Do not expose to heat (> 50°C). Discard and replace as soon as fabric or stitching degradation appears
