Description

When the aim is to support the knee without stiffening movement, the Epitact Physiostrap Sport support pad relies on a system of silicone bands to accompany the joint during active phases. It favors targeted support while allowing the freedom needed for sporting gestures, particularly during dynamic exertion.

Its polyamide/elastane fabric design ensures supple contact with the skin, while silicone elements contribute to the stability of the whole during exertion. It can be worn on either the left or right side, and should only be used during activity, to avoid discomfort caused by prolonged compression in a static position. Regular maintenance of the siliconized areas helps maintain good grip.

Epitact Physiostrap Sport specifications:

  • Right/left: can be worn indifferently on the right and left foot
  • Pack contents: 1 kneepad + 1 metallized pouch + 1 instruction leaflet
  • Composition: 70% polyamide/elastane fabric, 30% silicone
  • Use advice:
    • Wash the brace before 1st use
    • For optimum fit: before use, do not apply moisturizing cosmetics and wash at least the silicone bands with soap and water to remove impurities
    • To limit the risk of skin irritation, do not wear the knee brace in a prolonged lying or sitting position (sleeping, driving, etc.).). In the event of painful sensation, swelling, discomfort or any other abnormal reaction, discontinue use and consult a doctor
  • Contra-indications:
    • Do not use on skin lesions
    • Do not use in cases of arteritis, severe varicose veins, sequelae of phlebitis or edema (lymphatic/ venous) of the leg and/or thigh so as not to impede circulation. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice
    • Do not use with compression stockings
  • Care: machine wash at 30°C or hand wash (without rubbing) with soap and water. Do not use detergents or stain removers (bleach, acetone, nail polish remover, etc.). Allow to dry naturally. Discard and replace if gel cracks, fabric or seams deteriorate
