The Shift² 16 MN Bent Chetler Black Bright Silver SH120 from Atomic is a hybrid ski binding designed for freerando, designed for alternating between ascents on skins and challenging off-piste descents. It’s designed for expert skiers or larger-framed skiers seeking superior grip on the descent without sacrificing true touring functionality. With a DIN range of 8 to 16, it prioritizes retention and stability under heavy stress. The 3-Part Power Heel offers 16 mm of elastic travel to absorb shocks, while the Power Block AFD with an aluminum insert increases lateral stiffness and improves power transfer. The metal- and rubber-reinforced baseplate contributes to precision while reducing vibrations. The aluminum Hike and Ride lever facilitates transitions between ascents and descents.
