Product description — Alpinist 8 90mm Black

Touring binding Alpinist 8 90mm Black

The Marker Alpinist 8 90 mm Black ski touring binding is designed for long, demanding backcountry missions. Its lightweight construction makes ascents easier without compromising downhill reliability.

The carbon-reinforced toe piece features an integrated step-in aid: its design guides the boot and helps position it precisely on the pins, offering real convenience in the field, especially in cold or snowy conditions. This optimises the strength-to-weight ratio. The Alpinist Heel unit provides smooth lateral release and secure retention thanks to its built-in play compensation system.

For the climb, the Rotate Pivot heel riser offers three climbing angles (0°, 5°, or 9°) to adapt the effort to the terrain’s gradient.

With a DIN range of 3 to 8, the Alpinist 8 is aimed at lighter skiers under 80 kg (approximately 12.6 stones), from intermediate to advanced level, ensuring an excellent balance between safety and performance.

It comes with a 90 mm ski brake to reduce the risk of runaway skis in the event of a fall. Leash not included.
