Touring binding Alpinist 8 Black

The Marker Alpinist 8 Black touring ski binding is a Low Tech model designed to prioritize lightness and climbing efficiency, with just 540 g per pair and a DIN adjustment range of 3 to 8. It uses the same construction as the Alpinist 10, with a reinforced carbon front stop that ensures an excellent compromise between rigidity, precision and weight savings. Anti-ice elastomer pads make it easy to put on, even in powder or on a sustained slope, while the Rotate Pivot heel unit enables rapid changeover from ascent to descent mode.

The latter incorporates a three-position ascent wedge, 0°, 5° and 9°, to adapt support to the terrain encountered on the ascent. The wide wheelbase of the screws promotes better transmission of support on descent, as well as efficient lateral release. The binding also features a 15 mm length adjustment to fit different inset boots, and remains compatible with knives as well as Marker Alpinist ski stops.

This binding is sold without brake and without leash. These accessories are available separately.
