Description

The Movement Carbon Pro ski touring boot is a ski-mountaineering competition machine that weighs just 899 g per boot. Its all-carbon collar stiffens the upper section without weighing down the overall package, for direct power transmission both downhill and uphill.

What's in it for the Movement Carbon Pro ski boot?

Positioned for competition ski-mountaineering and committed high-mountain skiing, the Carbon Pro combines a flex of 130 with a featherweight of 1,798 g per pair. The grilamid shell adds lightness, while the carbon collar takes powerful downhill support without creating a hard spot. The four-piece Cabrio construction facilitates fitting and frees up a 75° amplitude in walking mode for rapid transitions. The shoe's 101 mm volume is suitable for thin feet looking for comfort as well as medium feet looking for precision.

Who is the Movement Carbon Pro ski boot for?

This boot is aimed at confirmed to expert skiers, ski-mountaineering competitors or committed high-mountain practitioners, who are looking for an uncompromising weight-performance ratio on both ascents and descents.

What are the main qualities of the Movement Carbon Pro ski boot?

Lightweight

Stiffness

Precision

Is the Carbon Pro suitable for freetouring with wide skis?

The carbon collar offers sufficient support to pilot freetouring skis up to a certain size, but it remains primarily designed for ski mountaineering. For wider skis and a sustained freeride commitment, a boot with a more progressive flex and a more enveloping shell will be more suitable.

Is the liner thermoformable?

Yes. The Palau Thermofit Light Pro liner thermomolds to fit the foot's morphology and improve support after a few sessions.

Is the sole compatible with tech bindings?

Yes. The Carbon Pro incorporates tech inserts compatible with Dynafit or Marker-type insert bindings. The Vibram sole ensures reliable grip on rock, hard snow and mixed terrain.

Does the inverted hook offer precise tightening?

Yes. The inverted hook with micro-adjustment allows fine-tuning of pressure on the instep. Combined with the strap integrated into the collar, it locks the foot quickly without complex manipulation.
