The Scarpa Gea is a remarkably lightweight model, weighing only 1220 grams per boot (size 25 Mondo Point), notably thanks to carbon inserts and robust yet lightweight materials. Its shell and cuff are made of Pebax Rnew, a thermoplastic elastomer made from ricin oil. This material performs especially well in low temperatures and guarantees excellent energy restitution. The Scarpa Gea offers good grip when walking thanks to its new Vibram outsole, as well as the impressive 60° range of motion of the walk mode. It also features a RECCO reflector, for improved safety during your mountain adventures!
