Description

The Katadyn Vario is a pump water filtration system. It can be used with clear of turbid water. Its volume and water flow are meant for a group of 2 to 5 persons. 

The filter can be replaced, replacement filters are sold separately. The lifespan of the filter can reach up to 2 000 litres, depending on water quality and the chosen filtration mode. Indeed, you can filter 1 to 2 litres per minute, however, the slower flow preserves the lifespan of the filter. 

The filter is made of fiberglass and contains activated carbon. It is effective against bacteria, protozoa, cysts, sediments and bad taste.
