Description

Ascender Croll

The Petzl Croll is a chest ascender for rope ascents. It is designed to work with wet or stiff large diameter ropes (from 8 to 11 mm for the size S and 8 to 13 mm for the size L), and prevent friction. To be used for rope ascents, it has to be combined to the Petzl Basic rope clamp or Petzl Ascension ascender.

Compatible with ropes measuring 8 to 11 mm in diameter (size S) and 8 to 13 mm in diameter (size L)
To be combined to Petzl Basic rope clamp or Ascencion ascender
Lower hole is angled to keep the chest ascender flat
Upper hole to attach a Torse shoulder strap to keep the ascender in position
Nylon safety catch is opened by pinching, for simple, quick manipulation
Toothed cam with self-cleaning slot optimizes performance under any conditions (frozen or muddy ropes...)
Stainless steel cam has better resistance to corrosion
Aluminium frame, stainless steel cam, nylon safety catch
Weight: 85 g in size S1 140 g in size L
