Description
The Evo BT Safety Pack is an essential kit containing all the necessary safety elements for mountain adventures. It includes the Evo BT avalanche transceiver, the Access Ts snow shovel, and the Spark 240 probe.
The Arva Evo BT Avalanche Transceiver is designed to meet the expectations of the most demanding users. Featuring cutting-edge technology and a user-friendly interface, it ensures maximum efficiency in rescue situations. It is equipped with a rotary switch, which is very easy to handle even with gloves on, allowing you to switch between search and transmit modes effortlessly. The backlit screen and high-quality speaker provide effective guidance to the burial area. In the event of a second avalanche, the integrated motion sensor allows the Evo BT to automatically switch to transmit mode, ensuring optimal safety for the rescuer.
In addition to its exceptional performance, the Arva Evo BT is made from recycled plastic. It is lightweight, weighing only 198 g, making it easy to carry in your ski trousers pocket or in the holster it comes with, which is made from recycled fabric.
What are the advantages of the Evo BT?
A key factor in quickly locating one or more people buried under an avalanche, the Evo BT has a search strip width of 60 m. This transceiver features Group Check and Standby modes, Auto-test at startup, multi-victim marking, automatic return to transmit mode in case of a secondary avalanche, U-turn alarm... The dynamic interference management function optimises its performance in the presence of other electronic devices. Bluetooth connectivity allows for software updates and diagnostics via the Arva app, offering a comprehensive solution for your safety in the mountains.
What to do in case of an avalanche?
To locate an avalanche victim, switch to receive mode. The Evo BT's rotary switch makes this operation easy, even with gloves on. Once the direction and distance are displayed on the screen, simply follow the instructions to reach the 3 m zone. From this point, the directional arrows disappear to allow for a final cross search, close to the ground. Then, proceed with probing and shovelling to free the person trapped under the snow.
How does the Evo BT work in multi-victim mode?
The Evo BT automatically displays icons representing each detected victim. After locating the first person and marking their position, you can move on to search for the next one using the victim marking function. This feature allows you to focus search efforts on the remaining victims while your teammates free the first one.
