KEEN’s history: the hiking shoe and sandal specialist from Newport

The first KEEN sandals and shoes with a black toe rand came out of the factory in 2003. KEEN first found a niche market in sailing and other outdoor and water sports. KEEN then branched out with footwear lines with various styles, casual shoes for summer time and winter models, bags and clothes. KEEN also offers a full range of safety shoes such as the famous KEEN Utility Tacoma work boot.

KEEN: men’s, women’s and children's hiking sandals

Discover a wide range of hiking sandals from KEEN: technical and ergonomic sandals that provide both foot comfort, support of your foot arch and ankle stability. With their numerous colourways and sizes, there are KEEN sandals for men, women and little girls and boys.

The secret of KEEN sandals? An efficient rand, ultra-comfortable EVA insole, total foot venting and quick lacing on virtually all models.

Our opinion on the brand’s main models: Newport, Clearwater, Whisper.

Some models from KEEN have become best-sellers. This is the case for example of the Newport sandal or the Clearwater sandal.

KEEN Newport sandal: this sandal ensures maximum stability thanks to solid ankle support, precise and automatic lacing system and an anti-slip outsole, very efficient both on dry and wet terrain. The anatomically shaped EVA insole perfectly fits your foot to offer good cushioning over many miles.

KEEN Clearwater sandal: with this sandal, you will stay fresh all summer and have fun walking in water thanks to a hydrophobic lining and anti-slip rubber outsole. In addition, a toe rand protects your feet from submerged rocks. This all-terrain sandal will be perfect to roam freely on the trails.

Targhee 3 sandal: a genuine leather walking sandal!

This sandal does not feature a toe rand. The goal is to offer maximum breathability. It will be perfect for fast rolling non-technical trails and paths. The leather straps do not shy away from water, neither does the hydrophobic insole. You will be able to cross streams easily. The Targhee 3 sandal: a true leather hiking shoe, but way more breathable!
