When the weather turns unpredictable, the wind picks up or the ground remains waterlogged, the Ferrino Manaslu 2 tent is a reliable solution for demanding high-altitude expeditions. Its freestanding design ensures secure pitching on rocky, compact or snowy terrain without relying solely on anchor points. The 7001 T6 hardened aluminium poles provide strength and stability, while triple reinforcements at tension zones enhance overall resistance to mechanical stress. The rain fly, made from recycled Ripstop polyester 70D (85 g/m²), combined with an aluminised thermo-insulating polyurethane coating and a water repellent finish, delivers waterproofness of 3,000 mm. The groundsheet in recycled polyester 70D (95 g/m²), with a thermo-insulating polyurethane coating and offering waterproofness of 8,000 mm, forms an effective barrier against moisture ingress. Thermo-sealed seams on both the rain fly and floor complete the protection against water ingress.

Inside, the inner tent in Ripstop polyester 70D (55 g/m²) benefits from a finish that is both water repellent and breathable. Ventilation openings, TPU windows and doors with fully openable external mosquito netting help to control condensation more effectively. A vestibule provides dedicated storage space for gear out of the elements, while internal pockets, gear loops and a lamp hook contribute to practical camp organisation.
