If you are looking for smaller rope diameters for more lightness when crag climbing, the Beal Karma 9.8 mm is a good start. This single rope offers the perfect balance between thinness and control. It provides manoeuvrability and a smaller footprint for your ascents. It remains quite easy to handle for belaying.
