The Mad Rock Drone 2.0 CS Hv climbing shoes are designed for climbers looking for climbing shoes that offer both comfort and performance. Compared to the Drone HV, this model features increased flexibility, ideal for precision and adaptability on holds. The special feature of this rock shoe is also its design without edges, offering superior performance, particularly on resin volumes. Although versatile for a variety of climbing styles, the Drone 2.0 CS HV really shines in indoor bouldering.

Der Drone CS ist mein fünftes Modell von Mad Rock und ich weiß immer noch nicht, ob ich sie liebe oder nicht. Die neue Kollektion mit der &quotCompression-Molded Toe Box&quot ist auf jeden Fall gewöhnungsbedürftig (im Gegensatz zu den alten Sharks, die Liebe auf den ersten Blick waren). Den CS habe ich mir geholt, weil er weicher als der Drone 2.0 sein soll (den ich für kleine Leisten schätze) und bin dann doch überrascht, wie steif die Schuhe vorne sind. Das ist fast kein Unterschied (aber sie sollen wohl noch weicher werden?). Auf jeden Fall kann ich mit dem CS sehr gut auf kl. Tritten stehen (hätte ich gar nicht erwartet), habe aber im Gegensatz bspw. zum Drago oder Theory null Gefühl, ob ich stehe oder nicht (bei Double Texture Tritten fühle ich gar nichts). Bei 'Schmieren' auf Volumen geht's mir ähnlich, der Schuh steht, aber ich habe kein Gefühl. Toe Hook oder Heel Hook ist dafür sensationell. Die Bequemlichkeit geht so. Ich habe HV genommen, obwohl ich schmale Füße habe (hatte 2x Mad Rock in LV und das geht gar nicht) und passe sehr eng hinein, wobei ich meine normale Schuhgröße gewählt habe, also 46=46. Gefühlt würde ich sagen entspricht das einer 44 und nach spätestens 10 Minuten muss ich aus dem Schuh raus. Fazit: Ich bin gespannt, inwiefern sich die Schuhe noch einklettern und anpassen (vermutlich braucht es dann schon wieder eine neue Sohle, was bei diesem Modell leider etwas kompliziert ist, in den Niederlanden soll SOeScalade original Mad Rock besohlen). Es ist kein schlechter Schuh, aber ich hatte mehr Gefühl/Feedback erwartet. Ach so, ich nutze ihn momentan nur in der Halle und zum Bouldern im Bereich 7A bis 7B.
