The Drago Yellow is an ultra-performance climbing shoe from Scarpa, designed for bouldering but capable to do route-climbing as well, with a very asymmetric shape and aggressive downturn.

Description

The Scarpa Drago is a high-end model, very asymmetrical and with an aggressive downturn it is conceived for bouldering performance but can be used for technical sports climbing as well. Featuring the PCB tension system under foot, bringing dynamic power transfer toward the big toe to enable toe hooks. This system, combined with the very asymmetric and aggressive profile provides maximum precision and power on the smallest holds.

The Vibram XS Grip 2 sole is located where you need it and offers very good grip because it is very sticky. Heel and top of the foot reinforcements allow for a wide range of gripping possibilities to hook on holds. The Scarpa Drago climbing shoe is designed to be resoled. Vibram offers resoling. Regarding sizing, Scarpa recommends not to go beyond below two sizes from your everyday shoe size. While everyone has a personal preference, most people undersize Scarpa climbing shoes half or a full size below their everyday shoe size.

Note: Scarpa climbing shoes hardly lose their shape over time. For this model, we recommend the following:

  • Beginners: Choose the size closest to your usual shoe size, or even half a size up.
  • Experienced climbers: Choose half a size to a full size smaller, depending on the level of precision desired.
