Product description — Instinct VS Black - 38

The Instinct VS shoeis the very versatilemodel developed by Scarpa, suitable for both bouldering and climbing, thanks to a good compromise between precision, power and comfort.

Its asymmetry and curvature are indeed not too pronounced, the Bi-tension system, offers sensitivity and support, it is reinforced on top to have more hooking options. Lastly, the front rubber prioritizes durability and the rear rubber prioritizes grip.

The Swiss army knife of Scarpa climbing shoes.

As for choosing your shoe size, Scarpa recommends going no smaller than two sizes down from your street shoe size. While everyone has their own personal preferences, we observe that most practitioners undersize their Scarpa climbing shoes by half a size to a full size compared to their street shoes.

Features:

  • Bi-tensioning system
  • Vibram XS Edge front sole
  • Vibram XS Grip 2 rear sole
  • Rubber patches on top
  • Self-gripping strap fastening

This description is an automatic translation. Please contact us if you have any further questions.

Note: Scarpa climbing shoes hardly lose their shape over time. For this model, we recommend the following:

  • Beginners: Choose the size closest to your usual shoe size, or even half a size up.
  • Experienced climbers: Choose half a size to a full size smaller, depending on the level of precision desired.

Bon modèle, assez rigide. Reste à voir comment il va se détendre dans le temps.
