Product description — Amaze Puff Mid Hooded Black
The Columbia Amaze Puff Mid Hooded women's mid-length down jacket is ideal for cold days in town, travelling and mountain getaways. Its 650 cuin fill-power down insulation provides excellent warmth, while the longer cut offers more coverage than a short jacket. The nylon and elastane outer fabric features four-way stretch, maintaining good freedom of movement despite the jacket's volume. The Omni-Shield™ water-repellent finish helps fend off light moisture, although it is not a substitute for waterproof protection in persistent rain. The Amaze Puff Mid Hooded stands out thanks to its internal carry straps, which allow you to wear it over your shoulders like a backpack when you want to take it off without having to carry it in your arms. Thumbhole cuffs cover the wrists, while drawcords at the waist and hem let you fine-tune the fit. Fleece-lined zipped pockets keep hands warm, and an internal security pocket keeps small personal belongings safe.
Is the hood on the Columbia Amaze Puff Mid Hooded removable?
Yes, the hood can be removed depending on the conditions and your preferences. When attached, its drawcord allows you to adjust the fit.
What is the benefit of this down jacket's two-way zip?
The two-way zip allows you to open the jacket from the bottom without taking it off completely, providing greater freedom of movement, particularly when sitting down.
