Product description — Sisar Down Hoody Black

The Patagonia Sisar Down Hoody is a technical insulated jacket that combines a recycled ripstop nylon shell, a recycled polyester lining, and recycled down fill. Its construction is designed to provide warmth while minimizing the use of virgin materials, with a tear-resistant outer fabric suitable for regular use in cool conditions. The durable water-repellent (DWR) treatment applied to the shell and lining helps moisture bead off the surface, with no intentionally added PFAS. The 600 cuin recycled down insulation combines duck down, goose down, and waterfowl feathers recovered from end-of-life down products. The taffeta lining provides a smooth feel against layers worn underneath, while Fair Trade Certified™ manufacturing adds a social dimension to the choice of materials.

Does the DWR treatment make the jacket waterproof?

No. The DWR treatment improves water repellency against surface moisture.

What type of down is used?

The filling consists of 600 cuin recycled down, made from a blend of duck down, goose down, and recovered waterfowl feathers.
