Carabiners Attache Bar

The Petzl Attache Bar carabiner features an ingenious design that makes it a versatile tool for climbing and mountaineering. Its unique feature is the addition of the removable BAR accessory, which turns this carabiner into a unidirectional version, thus optimizing the load distribution along the major axis and enhancing comfort during belaying or roping up on glaciers. The H-shaped structure contributes to the lightness of the carabiner, while the round section in the rope friction area allows for smooth sliding of the rope, compatible with belaying techniques using VERSO / REVERSO or a Munter hitch. Safety is increased by the Keylock system which minimises the risk of accidental snagging and a Screw-Lock ring that ensures easy handling, even with gloves.
