Helmet Orbit Junior

The Cairn Orbit Junior kids' ski helmet is a solid choice for getting young riders started on the pistes, with proven ABS construction and an adjustment system designed to suit children's head shapes. Certified to EN 1077, it meets the safety requirements for skiing and snowboarding.

The EPS inner shell absorbs impacts while the ABS outer shell keeps the whole structure rigid. This construction is slightly heavier than in-mold, but it makes for a tough, reliable helmet. The adjustment dial makes fine-tuning easy day to day: parents can adjust the fit in a few seconds without taking the helmet off. The V-Fit Design ear pads help keep the helmet stable from side to side while staying comfortable all day long. The full long-pile lining is removable and washable, a real plus over several ski seasons.

Is this helmet suitable for fast-growing children?

The adjustable size via the dial allows the head circumference to be adapted from one season to the next to a certain extent, but it is no substitute for a larger size if the child has grown a lot.
