Product description — Brigade Index Castor Gray - M
Designed to be reinvented, the Brigade Index the first ski or snowboard helmet on the market to be fully recyclable. Made of over 96% materials of the the same family, it makes no compromise in terms of safety or style and can be fully recycled at the end of its life. An idea can go a long way: no waste, everyone is winning.
At the heart of this model lies EPP4D technology, an eco-friendly replacement for EPS4D. This material maintains exceptional shock absorption properties while being easily recyclable. The helmet's shell, manufactured by a single injection of PP beads, offers unmatched strength and impact resistance. In addition to its durability, this helmet incorporates MaxFit construction around the ear pads, ensuring immediate comfort and improved sound quality, essential for a safe skiing experience.
The Salomon Brigade Index marks an important step towards a more sustainable future in the world of skiing and snowboarding. At the end of its life cycle, this helmet does not generate pollution as it is entirely recyclable without the need for disassembly. This approach not only helps reduce environmental impact but also provides recycled materials to other industries. Salomon is also committed to using recycled materials in the future manufacturing of these helmets. Thus, the Brigade Index not only protects you during your sessions but also contributes to a virtuous cycle of respect and preservation of the environment.
