- Wide: You can finally say goodbye to pressure points on the side of the foot. Wide versions are wider at the forefoot and toe areas. These are ideal if you find standard models to narrow.
- Bunion: The brand’s best-known fit, especially by people who suffer from hallux valgus. This unique and specific fit offers room around the big toe and on the side of the forefoot to prevent terribly painful pressure points.
- StraightFit: This innovative fit offers a bit more room at the front, only around the big toe. Ideal for hikers who have a slightly wider than average forefoot.
- StraightFit Extra: this fit is the perfect combination of the Wide fit and Straight fit. It offers a more generous volume and wider forefoot width than standard.
- AlpineWide: this fit is narrower at the heel and in the centre of the shoe and wider at the front to offer maximum support and precision while not compressing the toes to prevent frostnip and frostbites on mountaineering expeditions.
These various fits are always indicated in the name of the product. For example, the Alta Bunion 2 is a version for hallux valgus based on the Alta 2 standard model.

Low cut models such as the Blueridge Low are perfect for quick mountain hikes and fast rolling trails. They offer very good foot roll and the outsole provides very efficient grip thanks to Terragrip technology.
