Nemo Equipment: the American camping and outdoor equipment comfort specialist
Nemo’s sleeping bag range is organised around several key models. The natural down models are the Disco, Riff, Kayu, Sonic and Stalker and the synthetic models are the Forte, Tempo and Jazz.
Disco 15 and Disco 30 sleeping bags
The Disco is a classic model from the brand, based on a standard shape called “Classic Spoon”. Close to a rectangular shape, this shape offers a nice volume around the shoulders and legs. It allows to turn and change position easily during the night. Regarding the construction, the Disco uses a 650 cuin RDS certified down fill, YKK zip on the entire length, as well as two zips on the chest which offer good venting if needed. The Disco from Nemo also features a footbox that is both waterproof and breathable to keep your feet dry and warm. Nemo has not forgotten the details that matter such as a dedicated pillow pocket inside the bag which allows you to store any piece of clothing and a hood with drawcord paired to a specific flap which prevents draughts.
The Disco is available in 2 insulation levels for each gender:
- The women’s Disco 30F: comfort temperature -1°C for 1050 g in regular
- The women’s Disco 15F: comfort temperature -8°C for 1400 g in regular
- The men’s Disco 30F: comfort temperature 5°C for 875 g in regular
- The men’s Disco 15F: comfort temperature -4°C for 1220 g in regular
To sum it up, the Disco is a very versatile 3-season sleeping bag that will follow you everywhere to sleep under the stars.
Riff 15 and Riff 30: very warm 3-season sleeping bags
With an 800 cuin down fill, the Riff allows to sleep in lower temperatures than the Disco and is lighter. It is more efficient and uses the same rectangular shape and sleeping comfort.
The Riff is available in 2 insulation levels for each gender:
- The women’s Riff 30F: comfort temperature -1°C for 990 g in regular
- The women’s Riff 15F: comfort temperature -9°C for 1330 g in regular
- The men’s Riff 30F: comfort temperature 4°C for 825 g in regular
- The men’s Riff 15F: comfort temperature -2°C for 1080 g in regular
Nemo Forte 35 and Forte 20 sleeping bags
With the Forte, Nemo offers a classic-shaped synthetic insulation sleeping bag. Its Primaloft fill provides warmth and its rectangular shape offers great sleeping comfort, especially if you like to sleep on your side.
The Forte is available in 2 insulation levels for each gender:
- The women’s Forte 35F: comfort temperature 0°C for 1160 g in regular
- The women’s Forte 20F: comfort temperature -7°C for 1500 g in regular
- The men’s Forte 35F: comfort temperature 4°C for 900 g in regular
- The men’s Forte 20F: comfort temperature 0°C for 1300 g in regular
This sleeping bag benefits from all the brand’s features, such as double zip opening on the chest for venting, comfortable flap on the head to protect you from draughts.
Heavier than a down and feather sleeping bag, the Forte offers good protection at a great price.
A full range of Nemo women’s sleeping bags
Nemo has designed its sleeping bag range in a peculiar way. Women's sleeping bags have systematically a zip on the right side, while men’s models have a zip on the left. The goal is to be able to connect them to sleep together under a tent. Regarding the size, Nemo women’s sleeping bags are shorter than men’s models. The women’s regular is ideal if you are 168 cm max, the long if you are 183 cm max, while the men’s regular is designed for someone 183 cm tall and the long for someone 198 cm tall.
Nemo women’s sleeping bags have a specific design, with reinforced insulation at some areas, providing more warmth. This means they are generally slightly heavier than men’s versions.
