Description
The C.A.M.P. Corsa Nanotech ice axe is a technical, reinforced version of the famous Corsa model, specially designed for alpine hiking, glaciers and ski mountaineering. Constructed from 7075-T6 aluminum alloy, it remains ultralight while incorporating Sandvik Nanoflex® steel inserts on the head and spike. These critical areas thus benefit from increased strength and superior durability, without weighing down the tool. The curved handle optimizes striking efficiency while retaining optimal functionality in support and good snow penetration. The notched handle at the bottom provides a secure grip on steep passages. The head incorporates a passage for attaching the optional Corsa wrist strap, and the tool is compatible with the Trigger Fast Lock holder (available separately) to further improve grip. Lightweight, robust and reliable, the Corsa Nanotech is aimed at mountaineers seeking an ideal compromise between advanced technology and speed in technical terrain.
