Description

The Mercury Mitts are designed for versatile ski touring. They feature long, adjustable cuffs and goat leather palms with reinforced inserts. To ensure that you are completely protected from moisture, the external surface is treated with the Empel DWR, an environmentally friendly water-repellent treatment, and a 100% waterproof BD.dry insert. 

In terms of keeping out the cold, they have removable under gloves that combine PrimaLoft Gold Cross Core insulation on the top of the hand and PrimaLoft Gold insulation on the palm. The PrimaLoft Gold Cross Core insulation exploits the thermal properties of silica aerogel. The latter is composed of more than 95% air. It increases the insulating capacity of the PrimaLoft fibres tenfold without affecting the weight.
