Flexible and precise, the Wildfire Edge Mid Gtx hiking boot from Salewa epitomises performance for alpine approaches. Featuring a lightweight and flexible mid cut suede upper, as well as Exa Shell technology and its 3D cage and 3F system which connects the instep to the sole and heel. The result? Perfect stability and foot and ankle support. The Gore-Tex membrane protects your feet from moisture thanks to its waterproofness and breathability for all-condition use. This boot also features Switchfit system for quick support adjustability whether you are hiking or climbing, by altering your foot position. It offers the same level of stability as a mountaineering boot when you need it. For even better precision, the insole features a side support plate. This stiffens the boot and facilitates direction changes. Foot roll is unaffected as the rest of the sole is flexible. The EVA midsole provides comfort by efficiently absorbing shocks, while the Pomoca MTN Pro outsole guarantees optimal grip and traction on dry or wet rocks. The spaced-out lugs offer optimal grip on soft terrain. Finally, the anti-debris gaiters and rands offer total protection.
