Description
For those you don’t know it yet, the RCS Skate Plus Stiff is the highest selling skate Nordic ski on the market. Known for decades, this model has undergone numerous evolutions, going from race ski to third in the range, however it benefits progressively from all Fischer’s new technologies.
What are the characteristics of the Fischer RCS Skate Plus Stiff Nordic ski?
Featuring a stiffer camber than the Medium version, this RCS excels on hard snow. Responsive thanks to a honeycomb construction boosted by a carbon plate that provides lateral stiffness in skating and dynamism when pushing. The Plus base excels in the conditions most often found in our mountains, between 0 and -5°C, with a hard base layer and wet snow. The camber is perfectly suited to these conditions, long and high, it offers more aggressivity when skating. The base benefits from the innovations of the Speedmax, with a Cold Base Bonding process, this method has less impact on the molecular structure of the base. As a consequence, the wax lasts longer and the ski is less sensitive to snow changes. The construction which becomes ever closer to the Speedmax and Carbonlite provides only positive characteristics, as the ski remains as forgiving and stable in skating.
Useful information:
- All Fischer cross-country skis from this range are pre-waxed to protect the bases during storage and transport. It is required to scrape and brush the skis before using them.
- All Fischer Nordic skis feature IFP plates for Turnamic bindings compatible with the NNN, Prolink and Turnamic boot standards.
