Product description — Speedmax 80 Skate Plus 610 Stiff

The Fischer Speedmax 80 Skate Plus 610 Stiff is a technical skating cross-country ski for skiers looking to progress and develop stronger sensations. Its construction and range of World Cup-derived technologies combine low weight, dynamism and excellent stability across different snow conditions. It is designed for skiers who want to push their skating further with an agile, efficient ski.

What is the Fischer Speedmax 80 Skate Plus 610 Stiff designed for?

The Speedmax 80 Skate Plus 610 Stiff is built to maximize acceleration and efficiency during the push phase through its 610 construction: the contact points are brought closer to the center to support acceleration while maintaining excellent stability under lateral load. Its Air Core Carbon core keeps weight very low without compromising stiffness or durability. Cold Base Bonding and DTG World Cup Plus promote smooth, fast glide even in warm or wet conditions, while the World Cup Tip reduces swing weight for greater agility with every movement.

This model is delivered with a thin protective hot-wax layer on the base to protect it from dirt and oxidation during storage. This is not glide wax intended for immediate skiing: before the first outing, the layer must at minimum be scraped off with a sharp Plexiglas scraper using light, even pressure in the direction of glide. The base should then be brushed with a nylon or combination brush until its structure is fully exposed.

Who is the Fischer Speedmax 80 Skate Plus 610 Stiff for?

This model is aimed at sporty skiers who want to improve their skating technique with equipment inspired by racing standards while retaining accessibility and versatility.
