The softer version of the Premium+ S2 is designed for lighter skiers or for more versatility on some snow conditions. Still as dynamic and efficient, this ski is pure bliss to use.  

What are the characteristics of the Rossignol X-IUM skating Premium+ S2 Soft Nordic ski?

Let’s start with its construction, just like the rest of the Premium range, this model features a Nomex core, wrapped in carbon, this structure pairs lateral stiffness and very good dynamic properties. The long camber is more geared toward compact snow, the best conditions for skating, however with its soft flex it handles well in softer snow, with less anchoring in the snow. The external structure is lighter compared to the old model, making the ski more balanced at the end of a push and helping tip release. This is a great improvement in terms of sensations as it really improves the ski’s handling without compromising stability or skating aggressivity. Regarding glide, you can trust the K7000 base and its versatile cold structure which have already proven their value. The IFP mounting plates are suited to the Turnamic bindings, for a compatibility with 3 boot standards, NNN, Prolink and Turnamic.
