Description

The Leki HRC Marathon cross-country ski pole is, as its name suggests, dedicated to experienced cross-country skiers who train or race long distances. Its 100% Carbon tube, 66g per meter offers a great stiffness, but this one is slightly moderate compared to the HRC Max found on the World Cup circuits. But don't be mistaken, this is an ulta performance model, offering an excellent thrust performance. It simply has a slightly lower deformation than the World Cup model, making it less energy consuming over time.

As for the rest, we find the same high-end accessories that have proven themselves for several winters at Leki: as for the handle, we find a mix of cork and plastic for a good compromise between fingertip grip and palm control. The latter has been reworked this season, so that the attachment point is in the axis of the strand, which promotes a more direct push. It features the Shark system, which allows the strap to be released with a simple push on the top of the handle, and to be reattached by simply reinserting the cord into the system. The strap itself ensures comfort and a very efficient transfer of power thanks to its ergonomic design that wraps the hand perfectly. As for the bottom of the pole, there are baskets in size M-L that are very versatile and will perform well on all types of snow. They are equipped with the removable Fin Vario screw thread system, allowing you to switch them very easily or switch them to rollerski mode.

  • SML size on poles smaller than 157cm
  • MLXL size on poles larger than 157cm
