Description

Thanks to a design focused on lightness and reliability, the set of six Hotwire Quickdraws Quickpack 12 cm from Black Diamond stands out as a versatile piece of equipment for climbers on crags or big alpine routes. Each quickdraw uses two hot-forged HotWire carabiners, whose finger-thread technology reduces inertia and eliminates the risk of untimely opening by vibration during rope shocks. This mechanism also prevents the finger from freezing in winter conditions and limits the accumulation of debris.

The link between the carabiners is provided by an 18 mm polyester express webbing, chosen for its mechanical strength and durability against abrasion. To optimize clipping efficiency, the strap incorporates the Straitjacket device, which holds the lower carabiner in the ideal axis, preventing any parasitic pivoting. This 12 cm set offers an optimal compromise between weight savings and ease of handling, guaranteeing smooth progress on all types of rocky profile.
