Description

The Petzl Spirit Express 17 cm is a sport climbing shackle intended for equipped routes and route work. Its design combines aluminum carabiners with a polyamide EXPRESS sling, with the clear aim of facilitating handling while maintaining a good weight/performance ratio. The Keylock system limits unintentional snagging on the gear-holder, anchor or rope. The straight finger provides a good grip for clipping and unclipping, while the curved finger helps to clip the rope efficiently. The carabiner's flat back improves stability in the hand, especially when clipping in a pincer. The STRING protection keeps the rope-side carabiner well positioned during clipping. The ergonomic sling also offers a comfortable grip when working a route or repeated handling on crags.
