Description

The last version of the Race Speed Classic has a really sporty design, close to the Norwegian brand’s race models. However, it remains a forgiving boot with very good side to side stiffness.

What are the characteristics of the Madshus Race Speed Classic Nordic ski boot?

Compared to the former model, you can notice two main changes, the heel parts are thinner and the visual aspect of the boot is updated. Regarding the heels, the new design does not alter the lateral stiffness of the boot and it retains a very satisfying guiding capacity. The liner is wide enough to receive any type of feet, but this is not a lower end ultra-wide boot, you can clearly feel the foot is wrapped and supported. The Mashus lacing system is no stranger to this, as it offers excellent precision. The sole is soft to enable homogenous foot roll in alternating stride. This outsole is compatible with the NNN, Turnamic and Prolink standards. When it comes to the insulation, Madshus always does a good job, the boot features a windproof Softshell lace flap with a micro-fleece interior. An important point for people who suffer from the cold as Madshus is the only brand to develop this type of lace cover.

Who is the Madshus Race Speed Classic cross-country ski boot for?

If you do not ski everyday but like having a precise and comfortable boot, this is a model to consider. Its tight fit around the foot ensures good guiding precision of the ski and its foot roll in alternating stride is as homogenous as can be. An excellent model to progress or for long sporty outings in classic XC ski.
