In the Rossignol range, the X-10 Classic bridges the gap between recreational and racing shoes. It has numerous advantages with a design made for compromise that will satisfy a good number of skiers.  

What are the features of the Rossignol X-10 Classic cross country ski boot?   

The X-10 is the best performing boot in the Rossignol X line and has several advantages. The first is to offer a heel counter in a single block Dual Core integrated into the structure of the boot. Lighter than older models but just as rigid, it actively participates in maintaining the heel block and allows to guide the skis with more ease. This argument is particularly important when changing tracks, turning or during descents where the rear foot acts as a guide for the ski. Another very interesting point, the Tech Control Wrap, a Velcro strap under the lace cover that adds extra support to the ankle and increases stability while providing a secure feeling and without blocking the mobility in the axis. On this X-10, Rossignol has put the best of the classic non-carbon sole, the Expert Classic sole. This last one presents the following advantages, a more important lateral rigidity and flexibility on the frontal plan in order to support the rolling of the foot. The fit is like the rest of the X range, comfortable and generous because the idea with this shoe is to offer the best compromise between performance, tolerance and comfort. The Speedlace Lock lacing system wraps the foot efficiently and quickly. This shoe is compatible with NNN, Turnamic and Prolink binding standards.

It is a model quite open regarding the users, if we must identify a type in particular, it would be a frequent skier looking to invest in a mod offering an interesting compromise between comfort and performance.
