What is the Salomon Escape Plus Prolink cross-country ski boot made for?

This boot has been designed for maximum safety and comfort. It has a non-articulated collar around the ankle for maximum stability, as well as a stiff internal frame in the heel block to provide support and ski guiding. Its wide liner (105mm at the metatarsals) and Thinsulate insulation ensure optimal thermal comfort, ideal for long winter outings. The double-grooved sole ensures optimal guiding. Compatible with the NNN, Turnamic and Prolink binding standards, the Escape Plus offers great versatility.
