The RS8 just underwent a revolution in its construction, narrower, lighter, but still as comfortable, this boot shines by its forgiveness while becoming more technical and precise.

What are the characteristics of the Salomon RS8 Prolink Nordic ski boot?

It is quite simple, everything is new, bye bye the old version’s Energyze cuff, which makes room for a more adjusted and lighter Salomon Energyzer 2.0 newly designed cuff. When it comes to efficiency, it’s all good, ankle stability is perfectly guaranteed and the comfort pad eliminates any discomfort. Attached to a 3D thermoplastic chassis, the handling precision is great. As for the last, Salomon left space so that the boot can be comfortable and easy to put on. The Performance Fit liner is 102 mm wide at the metatarsals, it offers width and comfort to the forefoot, in total accordance to the boot’s program, leisure sport skating. The Thinsulate R78 insulation keeps your feet dry and sheltered from cold air for optimum thermal comfort no matter the conditions. This new construction brings the RS8 to a whole new level, it remains the super comfortable boot it has always been, while becoming thinner and more technical. Beautiful work from the brand based in Annecy, France, which has been able to revamp this iconic model to make it more progressive.
