Choosing the right Atomic ski for touring?

At Atomic, the range of touring skis is called Backland to invite you to visit the backcountry. The brand offers skis in several widths of skates to adapt to all terrains and snow conditions. A large family of 4 skis for men and women ranging from 78 mm to 107 mm skates. Skis that are light on the slopes, stable and playful in a variety of conditions for maximum enjoyment.

Atomic Backland Wmn 85

A versatile model specially designed for women, the Backland Wmn 85 is ideal for enjoying both ascents and descents. It has an ultra-light wooden core and full-length carbon reinforcements for the best power-to-weight ratio. On and off-piste, the manoeuvrability is top-notch thanks to the innovative HRZN Tech rocker that makes it easy to change direction while providing a little extra lift in powder snow. Perfect for intermediate to advanced skiers.

Atomic Backland 107

The Backland 107 is the widest version on skates and allows for big freeride sessions in the still untouched corners of the mountain. Even though its main focus is descents, it retains a lightweight construction for efficient ascents. Once at the top, the Backland 107 has a sporty ride with an excellent manoeuvrability for beautiful curves in powder snow. A ski that remains pleasant to control even when the conditions aren't right and you have to go back down the slopes. "
