Choosing Your Salomon Freeride Ski Set
Looking for a high-performance freeride ski set? Check out the Salomon QST range, a family of powerful and manoeuvrable freeride skis, with several options for both men and women. There are 8 models in total, including 3 for women (QST Stella 106, QST Lumen 99, and QST Lux 92) and 5 for men (QST Blank, QST 106, QST 98, QST 92, and QST SPARK). The construction is generally the same for all the skis in the range, with a few exceptions. Almost all of them feature a poplar core, cork damper, and fiberglass/carbon fibre. The cork damper absorbs vibrations while reducing the ski's weight, and the fiberglass/carbon reinforcement provides an excellent weight-to-torsional-stiffness ratio. These skis are quite punchy with a relatively low weight and good manoeuvrability, thanks to the playful pivots offered by the double rocker. From 112 mm underfoot for the widest, to 92 mm underfoot for the narrowest, it's a comprehensive range where you are sure to find a ski that suits your snow conditions and riding style!
