Description

Iconic model in Burton’s range, the Process is a versatile freestyle snowboard, designed with a twin-tip shape, a balanced flex and camrock profile that provides ease in freestyle, while allowing to enjoy all the terrains in the resort.

What is the program of the snowboard Burton process?

The Process features a perfectly symmetrical shape from nose to tail with centred inserts to be able to ride both ways, with ease in switch. Jumps, rotations and landings will be all the more creative with the wide range of possibilities offered to you. The wood core reinforced by triaxial glass fibre and the classic camber ensure a well-balanced flex with pop for ollies, rebound in the turns and flexibility at the tips. The presence of rocker facilitates turn initiations, provides some forgiveness and allows to lift better in powder. Evolutive, playful and versatile, this board enables to progress in freestyle and mix things up according to your wishes.

Who is the Burton Process snowboard for?

Accessible from the intermediate level, as well as for more advanced snowboarders, this freestyle-oriented model allows to have fun in the entire resort and all kinds of terrain. Ideal to progress fast with playfulness, pop and versatility.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
