Product description — Mia Brookes Pro

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The profile uses a low traditional camber between the feet and stays flat at the tips. It’s a park board built to perform: crisp pop, riding just as naturally in switch as in regular, and precise handling on all features.

What is the Capita Mia Brookes Pro snowboard designed for?

The Mia Brookes Pro is made for the park: kickers, rails, boxes, and anything else shapers can imagine. The twintip shape (a perfectly symmetrical board with identical nose and tail) means you can ride switch exactly like you would ride regular, without any adjustment. The flat camber—meaning continuous contact between the board and the snow along its entire length—provides stable balance on flat ground and progressive responsiveness when you load the edges. The pop is definitely there: when approaching a kicker or coming off a rail, the board responds sharply underfoot. The construction incorporates materials from renewable sources, without compromising performance.

Who is the Capita Mia Brookes Pro snowboard designed for?

The Mia Brookes Pro is designed for advanced to expert female snowboarders who take the park seriously and want a board that matches their commitment.

  • Riders who link features together and hone their technical skills on kickers and rails
  • Riders looking for a responsive and precise board— not a forgiving or easy board

A top choice if you’re comfortable in the park and want a board that responds to every move without forgiving any mistakes.

Avoid this if you’re a beginner or looking for a board that feels safe: the Mia Brookes Pro requires a high skill level to ride properly.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Capita Mia Brookes Pro Snowboard

Does the Capita Mia Brookes Pro ride just as well switch as it does regular?

Yes, that’s actually one of its key features. The perfectly symmetrical twintip shape ensures the board performs identically in both directions, without any feeling of imbalance or the need to adjust your riding style.

Is the flat camber suitable for the park?

The flat camber is particularly well-suited for park riding: it ensures stable contact on landings and a gradual edge catch.

Can the Capita Mia Brookes Pro be used outside the park occasionally?

It handles groomed runs between park runs with ease, offering good grip and solid stability. However, it’s not a board designed for powder: its focus remains on the park and freestyle.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
