Description

The Capita Micro Mini is a children's snowboard with a high-performance and robust construction, but is technically very accessible. The poplar shell surrounded by fibreglass offers a flexible flex which allows the rider to ride without difficulty and without having to force the supports. The glue used is Magic Bean resin, a 60% vegetable-based glue.

What is the programme of the Capita Micro Mini snowboard?

The Micro Mini is a twin-tip snowboard with a soft flex and a camber profile that offers technical tolerance. There is a flat camber area in the centre of the board, which guarantees a secure grip on the piste, then the board gradually lifts up to the extremities to eliminate contact areas and thus limit edge faults. This also allows the board to pass better on powder snow, so your child can easily ride on the edges of the piste. Versatile and evolutionary, the Micro Mini accompanies your little hothead as he progresses throughout the resort and even in freestyle for the more adventurous.

Who is the Capita Micro Mini snowboard intended for?

The Micro Mini is a board designed for children who are just starting to snowboard or who are already used to riding, but are nevertheless in need of a board that is accessible and adapted to their size!

What are the main qualities of the Capita Micro Mini snowboard?

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
