The Pathfinder Reverse is all about playability, with a poplar + beech core offering a soft flex, reinforced with two layers of biaxial fiberglass for stability while maintaining accessibility. The reverse camber offers forgiveness on piste and lift in powder, and the twin-tip shape is ideal for maximum freestyle options.

What is the program of the Capita Pathfinder Reverse snowboard?

The Pathfinder Reverse is designed to offer as numerous options as possible in freestyle, with a very loose feel, a lot of ease and flex to place a maximum of tricks. It's really a board for jibbing and technical tricks whatever the terrain (park, street, slopes, etc). The tolerance of the reverse camber offers more room for error in case of a clumsy landing. It's really fun and safe to learn new tricks and push limits.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.

Is my board ready-to-use ?

The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

How to maintain your equipment ?

Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
