Snowboard Money

The GNU Money is a twin-tip snowboard, i.e., with a symmetrical construction so that you can ride either forward or backwards. This is the best for freestyle. On the other hand, its wood + fiberglass construction offers the perfect flex, with both pop and flexibility. You'll be comfortable placing your tricks and engaging the snowpark's modules. It's fun to ride, offering a good compromise between grip and forgiveness thanks to the combination of a hybrid camber and Magne-Traction edges. The hybrid camber works on all types of snow, allowing you to ride on the edges of the slopes or on warm spring snow or the bottom of the resort. Versatile, fun to ride and scalable, this GNU freestyle snowboard will allow you to make the most of your days in the resort. Ideal for an intermediate or advanced snowboarder.

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. Is my board ready-to-use ?

The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

How to maintain your equipment ?

Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
