Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Gnu Money snowboard is a versatile all-mountain freestyle board, capable of handling the park, the groomed runs, and powder without losing its playful feel. It strikes a good balance within the lineup, offering enough support for kickers and enough maneuverability to improvise anywhere on the mountain.

What is the Gnu Money snowboard designed for?

The Gnu Money is an all-mountain board with a freestyle focus. It’s at home anywhere on the mountain, from the park to powder zones to kickers. Its directional twin shape gives it a symmetrical geometry for freestyle, with bindings set slightly back for a more natural stance at full speed. Gnu’s C2 profile combines rocker between the feet with classic camber under the bindings and at the tips. This gives you the forgiveness and agility of rocker for features and powder, along with the bite and pop of camber for kickers and aggressive turns. The result is a playful board on features that’s truly at home in fresh snow.

Who is the Gnu Money snowboard designed for?

The Gnu Money is designed for intermediate to advanced riders who want a single all-around board—from the park to off-piste areas—without having to specialize.

  • The rider who tackles features, kickers, and powder zones all in the same day
  • The snowboarder who wants to improve their freestyle skills without sacrificing freedom on the rest of the mountain
  • The rider looking for a responsive yet forgiving board with a moderate flex suitable for their skill level

A top choice if you want a versatile board capable of handling everything without being specialized in any one area.

Avoid this if you’re looking for a board designed for high speeds or demanding half-pipe competitions.

What are the main qualities of the Gnu Money snowboard?

Versatility

Playfulness

Powder performance

Does the Gnu Money maintain control on hardpack?

Magne-Traction improves edge grip by increasing the number of contact points with packed snow.

Is the Gnu Money’s base easy to maintain?

Yes, the Co-Ex base is durable, easy to repair, and low-maintenance for everyday use.

What’s the difference between the Gnu Money and the Gnu T.R.E.?

The Money features a directional twin shape that’s particularly well-suited for jibbing and soft snow, while the T.R.E. uses an Asym Twin shape that’s more stable and offers better grip on the piste.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
