Developed in collaboration with top riders Victor de Le Rue and Jimmy Goodman, the Jones Aviator snowboard gets a fresh update with its 2.0 version. This true directional twin is symmetrical between nose and tail, with a slight setback (inserts shifted towards the tail) for enhanced control. The Aviator 2.0 promises an exhilarating ride on all types of slopes, delivering support and commitment for sending it.

What is the Jones Aviator 2.0 snowboard made for?

The Aviator 2.0 pushes the boundaries of edge hold and stability. Its Power Core is fused with Koroyd-reinforced tips for maximum lightness, while the triax fibreglass layup and carbon/composite inserts boost responsiveness for a lively, powerful pop. Thanks to this construction, combined with a full traditional camber and Traction Tech edges, you get superb control and precise carving on hardpack. The subtle setback optimises handling in turns and improves float in powder. The twin shape allows for natural switch riding, while the board’s stability and liveliness make it perfect for confidently tackling both natural kickers and terrain park jumps.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
