Wondering between freeride, freestyle and piste? The K2 Antidote takes the guesswork out of the equation. This ultra-versatile snowboard is cut out to shine in freeride while maintaining an excellent level of performance in park and on piste.

What's in the K2 Antidote snowboard program?

With the K2 Antidote, nothing is out of reach. Thanks to its A1 Core - a skilful blend of aspen, bamboo and paulownia - it combines lightness, solidity and responsiveness, guaranteeing fluid transition from edge to edge. Its rigid flex, combined with Carbon Darkweb technology (strategically positioned carbon fibers), offers powerful energy transfer and enhanced stability to carve beautiful trajectories at high speeds. Designed with freeriding in mind, it's still very comfortable in freestyle thanks to its directional twin shape, perfect for trying out a few tricks in the snowpark. The ICG 20 technology built into the structure boosts responsiveness and pop, bringing dynamism to every impulse. Finally, the wax-enriched Wax Infused Sintered 4001 outsole ensures fast, durable glide, while the 3D Contour Base in the front helps deflect soft snow for better grip and smoother turn release.

Who is the K2 Antidote snowboard for?

The K2 Antidote is aimed at proven to expert snowboarders looking for a technical, responsive board capable of combining committed freeride, powerful curves and playful freestyle. It's perfect for versatile riders who want to enjoy the whole mountain on a single board, without compromising on performance.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
